TIVADAR DEZSE, Ph.D.
I’m a distinguished expert in pension law, a university lecturer, and a science journalist. Currently serving as Chair of the Pension Lawyers’ Association, a lecturer at the University of Szeged, and Editor-in-Chief of Egzakt, I combine academic rigor with practical legal expertise.
Between 2007 and 2012, I worked as an analyst at the Central Administration of National Pension Insurance. Following this, I founded Hungary’s first dedicated pension law firm, successfully handling over a thousand cases, including complex appeals and landmark court victories.
I earned my Ph.D. summa cum laude from the Doctoral School of Law at the University of Miskolc. My dissertation, titled ‘The Possible Role of Supplementary Pension Institutions in the Financing and Sustainability of State Pension Systems,’ addresses critical issues in social security sustainability.
I’m an active member of several prestigious scientific and professional organizations, including the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) Public Body and the National Association of Hungarian Journalists.
